Xeno Casted

Rhys Ifans announced on the Jonathan Ross show on BBC this Friday night (remember, England's ahead of  us) that he has been casted to play a roll for Deathly Hallows.

He did not specify a roll, but we can report that he will be playing Xenophilius Lovegood, editor of the Quibbler, and the widow father of Luna Lovegood.

That's a picture of him to the right.

Rumor has it that Clemence Poesy(Fleur Delacour) might return for DH, but nothing is final.

WB has neither confirmed or denied these statements yet. As soon as they do, it will be reported here!

I get the Quib mailed to me monthly. Lovely magazine... (ha! I wish there was such magazine...)

All-Time Coolest Heroes List

Entertainment Weekly published a list of 20 of the coolest heroes ever. Harry Potter is #4!
From the site (http://www.ew.com/):

"WHY HIM: Orphaned, cast out, and in the throes of adolescent hormonal revolt, J.K. Rowling's boy wizard (played by Daniel Radcliffe on screen) is the embodiment of the corny bumper sticker: Why be normal?
MOST HEROIC MOVE: Obliterating Voldemort by deploying his secret weapons: love, loyalty, and the good ol' Expelliarmus.
BIGGEST WEAKNESS: Misses his mommy and daddy."

Congratulations Harry! Number 4 out of 20. That's pretty good!
He was beaten by Superman (#3), Indiana Jones (#2), and James Bond (#1). Well I guess congrats to them too. Though Harry should have gotten first!

111 days until Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince comes out!

These last few weeks, David Copperfield has been showing on PBS. It was Daniel Radcliffe's first movie role. Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall) and Imelda Staunton (Professor Umbridge) were also in it.

New Character Posters

There are six new posters for Half-Blood Prince found at Th Bad and the Ugly. Six!!!

These character posters include...

Draco looking very, Death Eater-ly,
Ron in his Keeper awesomeness,
Harry looking ready to kick butt,
Hermione in a pretty purple shirt,
Dumbledore ready to glowing with... knowledge(?),
and Snape! Looking like he's about to give out a detention.

Wow, six posters and a trailer for the video game. Good day.

(That's Ron to your right... yay Rupert!)

Location for Shell Cottage is Set

According to Wales Online, the location for Shell Cottage in Deathly Hallows has been picked. And that location is.... (drumroll) Pembrokeshire, England! (Cheers in the background).

The article says, "The Harry Potter crew is expected to be in the area for 50 days. A set will be built in Pembroke Dock and moved to a site in the dunes. Work is expected to start in the area after Easter. "

Also being filmed there? A new Robin Hood movie! I think it involves Kiera Knightley too.
