JK Rowling Honored in France

JK Rowling is being honored by France by being awarded a French Legion of Honor award, the second in her family after her great-grandfather was awarded in World War I.

Rowling was presented the award by President Nicolas Sarkozy, and said "I cannot say that I think that I truly deserve it, but the Legion of Honor has a particular and personal meeting."

She also thanked her French readers for not being angry since the bad guy has a French name-- Lord Voldemort, though "Voldemort himself is 100-percent English" she said.
