Well, not everywhere in Dublin. But in the Vue Cinema in Dublin kids who are not above the 18 year old age line cannot see their favorite wizard on the big screen- Harry Potter.
"Vue cinema, in the Liffey Valley shopping centre, has introduced an “adults only” policy for certain films classified 12A or 15A (Half Blood Prince). The cinema chain says the move is a response to complaints from customers about disruptive teenagers.
Children’s rights groups have criticised the policy, saying it is discriminatory and an example of how teenagers are being unfairly targeted. “Going to the cinema is one of the few things that children and teens can do with their time,” said Michael McLoughlin, of Youth Work Ireland."
