Rowling Headed to Inauguration

The Scotsman has reported that JK Rowling is expected to receive an invite to be one of 500 exclusive guests to be invited to President-Elect Obama's inauguration gala (party), January 20.

Obama has admitted to reading Harry Potter to his two daughters, Sasha, 7, and Malia, 10. Both have become big fans of the series that has captured so many (including me).

At the end of the article, there was also a mention of "Harry Potter the Musical". Rowling's literary agent has dismissed the rumor.

Included was a comment by Dan Radcliffe who says, "I have heard things, but it wouldn't have my blessing."

I've actually got a friend going to the inauguration (I envy her) but hey! Maybe she'll get me JK Rowling's autograph if she sees her!

Quibbler Thought- 1/11/09

Since no one has responded to any of the previous Quibbler Thoughts (of the week). I'm putting this weeks on the site! Let's see how it works out.

So the Quibbler Thought is a segment on the show where we come up with a totally outrageous question that is most worthy of the Quibbler. Then I ask you to send in your thoughts. Here's this week's:

If a (Twilight) vampire were to bite a witch/wizard, would that affect their magical abilities, or would it even work at all, considering the fact your magical power come from your blood/genetics?

Yep, these are to really get your brain working. Have any ideas or thoughts? Send them into me at siriusly.nargles@gmail.com or just post a comment! Siriusly people, contact us.

-Begging you to let us know you're listening,
Divya
