Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (SPOILERS!)

It's no question that this movie has been long awaited by the Harry Potter fandom and as a big Potter fan, I must say it fulfills.

Of course their will be moments when fans of the books will want to bang their heads against the seat, groan, or even giggle at the few inane moments where the movie's plot has some new added twists that were definitely not in the book, it does not take away from the film.
The acting, special effects, and general atmosphere of the movie makes up for the newly added Harry-Hermione-Ron romance and a few of the corny lines. Even then, these new additions are handled well, portrayed in classy or humorous manner, seeming completely in tune with the film, neither detracting or ruining the film.
The trio returns with Radcliffe, Grint and Watson all proving their worth and showing growth from the first films, handling the intensity of the plot effortlessly, making it seem as if our wildest dreams and imaginations inspired by our favorite books have come alive on the screen.
The affects are simply amazing, having both children and adults cowering in their seats, gasping as Bathilda Bagshot bursts into Nagini or laughing uncontrollably as characters morph into duplicates of Harry Potter.
A beautifully crafted animation can also be seen in the film, weaving together the haunting Tale of the Three Brothers and eerie images of silky, inky figures.
Characters dies, make fools of themselves all while the audience cries, moans, agonizes and snort. You find yourself lost in the film, not wanting for it to end. And when it does, you realize with a heavy heart what a journey it has been.
One that you're not quite sure you want to end.
