HBP Review

Here's what might be Half Blood Prince's first review, courtesy of BBC.

And here's a preview to motivate you!

Those wanting noisy spectacle and endless action will be disappointed. This is a talky Potter.
It feels long - but not in a bad way. The main characters and the complex plot get a chance to breathe.

Ooh... you're motivated now, aren't you?

TV TIME!

So..... The New York Premier of HBP is TOMORROW! OMG!

So the trio will be doing loads of interviews here in the US... watch 'em on your tv! You know I will...

-Daniel Radcliffe: Tomorrow, July 9

It's On with Alexa Chung:
-Daniel Radcliffe: Thursday, July 9

Fandango! Tango! Mango!

Not only can you book tickets on Fandango, but you can also hear the soundtrack scoring for HBP!

Speaking of booking tickets (which you should be doing)... it's premier week for Half-Blood Prince! Only eight (8!) more day until us regular folks can see it!

Anyhoo... the UK premier will be streamed LIVE at this link. The cast will honor actor Robert Knox (who played Marcus Belby and was tragically stabbed to death while defending his brother), at the UK premier.

I think that's awesome... I wish he could have made it to the premier.

Ginny's Not a Kid Anymore....

Here's a great article on Ginny Weasley (Bonny Wright) on growing up, and her romance with Harry/Dan.

Related to that is this new interview with the cast of HP which features Dan talking about his On-screen romances and kisses.

Click here for the article and here for the video (via YouTube).

We've Got Scrimgeour!

Bill Nighy, who was quoted earlier saying, "I don't think I'm allowed to say it but I'm going to be in the next Harry Potter film", has been confirmed to play the part of Rufus Scrimgeour.

Here's what he said to the CBBC Newsround,

The 59-year-old, who once joked he was the "only British actor who hasn't been in Harry Potter", told reporters of his new role at a book festival launch.

"I am in the next Harry Potter," he told reporters.

"I will be Rufus Scrimgeour, who is the Minister of Magic and he is a very very important man."

Yay Scrimgeour!

HBP Assured Big Bucks

Reuters is pretty confident that Half-Blood Prince will get mucho dinero (a lot of money) at the box office.

It's Harry Potter, we should all be confident.

Says the article:
"Boy wizard Harry Potter is back in cinemas later this month with the sixth installment of the movie franchise, and another box office bonanza looks assured for the Warner Bros. studio."

Hell yeah WB is getting tons of money! Again... it's HARRY POTTER!

Rupert Had Swine Flu!

I almost had a heart attack when I read this!

Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) recently recovered from a bout of swine flu. Says the actor in a press conference, "'It was quite scary when I first found out I had swine flu,' he said at a press conference with other Potter actors including Emma Watson in London.
'I thought "Am I going to die?" But it was just like any other flu really.'
'I had a sore throat and I went to bed for a few days.'"

I'm thankful Rupert's okay. Already nine people have died of the swine flu in Britain and there's about 7,500 cases.

The government warns that there could be 100,000 new cases a day by the end of August.
