Muggle Quidditch Is For the COOL KIDS!!!

Guess what? Quidditch had been muggle-ized!


Several colleges headed to an Intercollegiate Quidditch World Cup recently, and even ESPN is covering it.

According this ESPN article, Muggle Quidditch is like this..."There won't be any flying -- damn gravity! -- but there will be broomsticks, held between the legs while running, bludgers ("I'll teach you to try to score!" Whack!) and even a snitch (only the flying golden ball is replaced by a fast guy or gal clad in gold with a tennis ball in a sock stuck in his or her waistband)."

Middlebury College started it all... I'm so going to college there!

The Exhibition's Moving to BOSTON!


You folks in Boston are SO lucky...


Anyhoo, you want to know why right? Well, as of October 25, the Harry Potter Exhibition will have moved from Chicago to the Museum of Science in Boston, Mass. With 2 new pieces too!

According to Boston.com, "A flowing brown robe worn by a character named Professor Slughorn and a 500-pound, 10-foot tall chess piece" have been added to the awesomeness...

So... Half-Blood Prince has been nominated in the Teen Choice Awards for best Summer Movie-Action Adventure at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.


The sixth film is up against of Star Trek, Terminator Salvation, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and X Men Origins: Wolverine. Tough competition man... 'cause Spock is hot!

Fans ages 13-19 are allowed to cast their vote every day. You have to register... but it's worth it for a Harry victory right? Make sure to click on the "Summer" tab to take you to the page with Half-Blood Prince.

I'm sure the HP cast want one of those wicked surf boards!

The Harry Potter Chair... OF INCREDIBLY HIGH PRICES!

So the chair that JK Rowling sat in while writing the first two Harry Potter books is currently open for auction on eBay.

The chair was first donated to charity by Rowling and is currently being re-auctioned. Anyone can buy it if they have the money. Which, sadly we don't.

Right now the price is at £2,450.00 which is equal to $4,032.00.

Waylett Sentenced


Jamie Waylett (Crabbe) has been sentenced to 120 hours of community service after he was found to have possessed ten cannabis plants, (a type of marijuana), and after pleading guilty.

Emma's Off to University

Emma Watson is off to study at a university.... and it's Ivy League at that.


The actress has finally confirmed that she will be attending college at Brown University in the autumn. Here's what she said:
'I am [going to]—to Brown, which is an Ivy League establishment in the U.S.A. I’ve got a place there to read literature."

Heyman Shares Stories and Pictures

David Heyman (producer of the HP movies) reflected on his past few years with Harry Potter franchise and even shares an adorable picture of when eleven year olds Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint met. (It's pictured to your left and so cute!).


Heyman says, “They are not my own children, obviously, but they are like nephews and nieces or perhaps godchildren, and I feel really protective of them.”

Edward and Harry Duke it Out

On Late Night, there was this pretty funny video of "Harry Potter/Daniel Radcliffe" and "Edward Cullen/Robert Pattinson" going at each other's throats.


Edward (Played by Jimmy Fallon) starts it all with one video, and Harry (also played by Jimmy Fallon) replies rather feistily.

Here's a preview:

"My movie's about vampires. Yours is about wizards, so my movie is less stupid basically,"... Edward Cullen says.

"You get to cast spells in my movies. Here's a spell for Robert Pattinson: Twilighticus suckus!" ... Potter declares.

HBP Setting Record

HBP is making and breaking records this summer with it's release last Wednesday, July 15. It already beat the record set by Batman: The Dark Knight who opened with 18 million. HBp made 22 million!


Reuters says: The latest "Harry Potter" movie cast a $104 million spell over worldwide box offices during its first day in theaters, setting a new record for the boy wizard, distributor Warner Bros Pictures said on Thursday.

Waylett Pleads Guilty

Jamie Waylett (Crabbe, of the infamous duo of Crabbe and Goyle) has pleaded guilty to the charge of growing the Cannabis plant, a type of marijuana.


Waylett and a friend were arrested when police found 10 bags of the plant and a knife in his cars.

He could face up to 14 yearss in prison.
