Japanese Trailer Online

Yes that's right! You saw the pictures now here's the trailer.

It has Japanese subtitles, but the actors speak in English. However, there's a Japanese narrator. It's very cool, with new clips, you might not have seen.

Check it out (thank you YouTube).

Random Twilight Stuff

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on in a while for you twilight peeps! (you're fabulous, by the way). but I am bored and would like to show you some random twilight stuff....

Definition:
saga - (noun) a narrative telling the adventures of a hero or a family; originally (12th to 14th centuries) a story of the families that settled Iceland and their descendants but now any prose narrative that resembles such an account.
Wait, what?! Are the Cullens Icelandic? Let me check....

Names:
The boy's name Cullen \c(ul)-len\ is pronounced KULL-en. It is of Irish and Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "good-looking lad; handsome".

But what is interesting is a name listed as sounding similar to Cullen...

The boy's name Quillen \qu(il)-len\ is a variant of Quillan (Irish, Gaelic), and the meaning of Quillen is "cub".
Hello?! Quilete?Quil?, meaning "cub", like a wolf? Wow, freaky........

Now, time for Jor's song list:
Edward/Bella song- Your Guardian Angel, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (Breaking Dawn)
Jacob/Bella song (New Moon)-Love Song, Sara Bareilles
Bella/Volturi/James/Victoria song- Fighter, Christina Aguilera
Bella/Edward song (New Moon)- Alone, Heart
Bella's Lullaby-Lake Erie Rainfall, Jim Brickman
Twilight movie song- Nobody's Perfect, Hannah Montana (Everyone makes mistakes...)

And now for twilight Joke of the week:
When Emmett Cullen does push-ups, he doesn't push himself up, he pushes the ground down.

Trailer In Front of "Inkheart"

You've all seen this trailer before and it's going to be in front of Inkheart. So if you didn't see it on the big screen in front of Twilight, see it now with Inkheart.

This was posted several days earlier, but we think you should be reminded. Seeing as Inkheart comes out tomorrow. We recommend it, mostly for the trailer... Clap when you hear the familiar Hedwig's Theme!

Emma Rejects America

Well... Not really. Emma Watson has chosen to attend Cambridge University instead of a school in the United States. The article on the Telegraph Website says "...the 18-year-old star of the Harry Potter films has accepted a place at Cambridge University. It is understood that she will read English at Trinity College." We love learning over here at Siriusly Potter. We are happy for Emma and we hope she loves college!

Harry Potter goes to Italy (FIRST!?)

Warner Bros. Italia has realized a statement saying "Harry Potter and the Half-Prince, the sixth episode of the saga created by author JK Rowling, released in Italy on 15 July 2009..." Yes folks! Our math matches yours. 2 DAYS? The statement says something about it relating to the success of The Dark Knight but I don't speak Italian and Babble Fish is useless. I'll update as soon as we get more. You can watch the trailer in Italian here (funny).

UPDATE: It is being released on the 15th in France too! (See the French trailer here!)

UPDATE: The Danish film is also comming out on the 15th!

Number of Adult Fiction Readers Increase

According to The Daily Collegian Online, fiction reading has increased among adults.

Why?

They're thinking it's the popularity of Harry Potter and Twilight. Now usually the adults I know read those mystery/romance/weird novels, you know, Nora Roberts and books like that. I mean nothing against them, but can they even come close to beating Harry?

But I think I might actually believe this claim, anyone ever heard of Twilight Moms? Definite hardcore fans.

Harry Potter Proofs

According to a recent article in harrypotterspage.com, a proof copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's (Sorcerer's) Stone is going up for bid. Basically this means an unedited version of Book One, with all the misspellings and grammar mistakes of which only 200 were ever made, is going up for sale.

This includes the misspelling of the author's own name, saying "J.A. Rowling."

For more info on this bid, click here.

Emma Spills the Deathly Beans!

Emma Watson has updated her official site with the news that test shooting for Deathly Hallows Part One will begin the 26th of this month. She says that she needs to have her hair colored for the part and then they are ready to roll. She also writes about how she misses Dan and Rupert and that she will be glad to see them. You can see this article here.

In other Emma news, she has designed a dinner plate that will be in a charity auction. The money will go to Blue Peter's Mission Nutrition. It will be sold on eBay starting next Wednesday the 28th.

New HBP Trailer this Friday?

Rumor has it, according to Canmag.com, that with the release of the Japanese trailer last week, Warner Brothers plans to release a final trailer this Friday. Will it happen, is the question. But who knows?

The Japanese trailer, which can be found below, was full of stills that are quite interesting, including Snape, the trio, and more. Check them out.

UPDATE: There may also be a poster coming out with the trailer. We just don't know.

Harry Potter and The Hallows of Hogwarts

In an interview with Melissa Anelli J.K. Rowling said that Harry Potter and The Hallows of Hogwarts was going to be the title of book 7 for many years. Her reason for changing it to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was because is was "wrong, just wrong." and because there are "about 12 adverbs in the final title. I love an adverb." You can read this interview here!

The potential titles included:

-Harry Potter and the Heart of Ravenclaw
-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
-Harry Potter and the Deadly Veil
-Harry Potter and the Demon's Sword
-Harry Potter and the Quest of the Serpent
-Harry Potter and the Grey Lady
-Harry Potter and the Heir of Gryffindor
-Harry Potter and the Lost Sceptre
-Harry Potter and the Broken Wand
-Harry Potter and the Gryffindor Quest
-Harry Potter and the Peverell Quest
-Harry Potter and the Wand of Gryffindor
-Harry Potter and the Ring of Destiny
-Harry Potter and the Elder Wand
-Harry Potter and the Revenge of Dumbledore
-Harry Potter and the March of the Death Eaters
-Harry Potter and the Return of the Dark Lord
-Harry Potter and the Curse of Nagini
-Harry Potter and the Last Prophecy
-Harry Potter and the Hallows of Hogwarts
-Harry Potter and the Mudblood Revolt
-Harry Potter and the Seventh Horcrux
-Harry Potter and the Wand of Grindelwald
-Harry Potter and the Final Curse

Just be glad we got the title did. I can't imagine reading a book called Harry Potter and the Revenge of Dumbledore.

Rupert and Emma, Sitting in a Tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!

In a new article with The Telegraph Rupert Grint said "As I've known Emma for so long, I reckon it [the kiss] will be 10 times worse" and "I really love the seventh book, but there is no way it will be tame with the Hermione stuff."

He also spoke about the kiss (and more) he shared with Kimberley Nixon for his upcoming film Cherrybomb: "I don't think it's quite up there with Dan's Equus, but it was quite a surreal experience, especially as we were sharing the bed with half a dozen camera crew, but, yeah, I was quite nervous, I think we both were." and "It was a new thing for the two of us – though, weirdly, I remember Kim and I doing a crossword in between takes. That definitely took our minds off the deed."

As for the kiss in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Rupert says "I'll have a stack of crosswords at the ready."
