AAAARRRGGGG!

Half Blood Prince has received a rating of "M" in Australia which is the equivalent of 12A in the UK and of PG13 in the States. So why is it PG... WHY? What's wrong with us? What makes us better than them? What makes us so tough? There must be an answer (and it better not be Obama, I don't want to here it!).

Two New Interviews

One with Emma Watson in Times Magizene

and

Yeah... They talk about kissing.

WARNING: DON'T PIRATE

According to PCtools.com hackers are taking advantage of HP fans by disguising viruses as illegal copies of the 6th movie. If you receive any offer to download the movie for free DO NOT click it or open it or anything.

Dear Old Sluggy's Wardrobe

The Los Angeles Times sat down with costume designer for Half-Blood Prince, Jany Temime who "has been dressing the cast since 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'," and gets the scoop on her first real challenge...

....dressing Horace Slughorn.

"'Jim is not a small, fat man. He is tall and strong,' she said. 'So we had to change and adapt.' To do that, Temime used all of J.K. Rowling’s atmospheric detail to tell the story of Slughorn through his clothes rather than his size."

Fleur is Back!

So Clemence Poesy (Fleur Delacour) went and got herself pregnant back when they were filming movie 6, which is why we won't see Fleur when the movie comes out (19 days left!).

But she's back for Deathly Hallows and already at work!

So the article here is in French, so here's the translated version....

"Whereas Marion Cotillard became Frenchie preferred of the international cinema since for its interpretation d' Edith Piaf in " Môme" , another French actress is indeed likely to steal the high-speed motorboat to him… Clémence Poésy, that one already was pleased to see in " Large Meaulnes" or " War and Peace" was selected to join the cast of " Harry Potter". The young 26 year old actress will incarnate again; "Fleur Delacour" , a pupil of the school of magic " Beaubâtons" who was in the last TriWizard Tournament. Filming should begin in ten days. Clemence Poésy is already put at work, in England."

It's really bad translation from Babelfish... but there you go.

Publishers Deny Plagiarism

Bloomsbury Publishing PLC is being taken to court (again) in london by the late Adrian Jacobs estate for copy right infringement. The estate claims that " Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire " reproduces parts of Adrian Jacobs "The Adventures of Willy the Wizard". Jacobs died in 1997 and his book was published in 1987. Bloomsbury had this to say, " These alligations are unfounded, unsubstantiated abd untrue. J.K. Rowling had never heard of Adrian Jacobs nor seen, read, or heard of his book 'Willy the Wizard' until this claim was first made in 2004."

Interview With Mike Welch

Ok Twilight Fans, Mike Welch, who plays Mike Newton, had an interview with BLAST talking about filming the upcoming sequal to Twilight, "New Moon" .

Jessie Cave Spills on Smooching Rupert

Jessie Cave, who plays Lavender Brown, talks about her audition with Rupert Grint.

For your final audition, what scene did you get to act out with Rupert?: We actually had to improvise for a good 15 or 20 minutes, which is very scary. It’s a really long time. The director, David Yates, was there and he was just like, “Hi. Right. Here’s a plate of biscuits, Jessie. It’s a lovely plate of chocolate biscuits and I want you to do whatever you want with these biscuits.’ Rupert was in the room, sitting on the sofa, and I just thought, ‘What the hell am I going to do with this plate of biscuits?’

What did you end up doing?: I thought, ‘I’m just going to go for it.’ And I think Rupert was a bit scared, really. The biscuits were past the sofa, away from me so I kind of just tangled myself around Rupert and just made it really obvious that I didn’t really care about the biscuits. I just wanted to be near him. I think he was quite scared.

Awww, he was probably acting, too. Right?: No, he was actually scared [laughs]. I think he’s easily scared though, bless him. He was so lovely and we really got on and made each other laugh, and that helped.

For the rest of the interview go to:

Video Game Talk

Rupert Grint and his co-stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Bonnie Wright, Tom Felton, and Freddie Storma ( who plays Cormac McLaggen in the up coming film) talk about the new Half- Blood Prince video game which will hit store on July 30th (only 15 days after the movie comes out!). Rupert says "Where ever there is flying involved, I’m quite into that".

They've Chosen It! Finally!

Deathly Hallows director David Yates confirmined in an interview with the LA times that they have chosen the place to split Deathly Hallows. Finally!!!!! Though Yates said this could change during editing (Are you kidding me!?!?!?) right now they are spliting the movie shortly after the scene where Harry, Hermione and Ron are captured by the Snatchers after being chased through the woods. Yates goes on to say that the split will be a cliffhanger, something the Potter series has yet to see but makes sense in the storyline.

If you would like to comment on what you think this scene is go to: http://www.thehdroom.com/news/Split_Point_for_Harry_Potter_and_the_Deathly_Hallows_Films_Chosen/5040

Emma on TeenVogue

Emma Watson will be appearing on the August issue of TeenVogue. She also gave an interview. She commented on the on-screen romance with Rupert Grint: "At the beginning, it looks like they’re on their way to finally being together, but of course Ron screws it up. So she’s jealous, and doesn’t quite realize it, and they have all these arguments.”
She also talked about her decision to go to university: "I’ve been saying that I wanted to go to university since I was eleven, so if they didn’t let me, I’d be pretty upset. I just want to keep it private [my university choice] for as long as I can. I probably sound like a paranoid nut, but I’m doing this because I want to be normal. I really want anonymity. I want to do it properly, like everyone else. As long as I don’t walk in, and see, like, Harry Potter posters everywhere, I’ll be fine.”
