Revamped Site

The Half-Blood Prince site has a different look, with a flashy background which uses a picture of Harry from one of the teaser posters that appeared quite some time ago. When you open the site a slightly eerie version of Hedwig's Theme starts playing, along with some music we're guessing is from the movie's score.

You can find everything on the new site from a synopsis to trailers and even previous years. Check it out by clicking here and enjoy!

New Poll at WWHP

There's a new poll at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter website, the official theme park site. The question is: "Which dragon would you like to ride?" Your options? A Hungarian Horntail or a Chinese Fireball.

Ooh, tough choice. But right now, the Horntail is in the lead.

The last poll ("Which would be your favorite place to shop in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter?") came out with the results of Honeydukes as the top choice by fans.

New Death Eater

According to AceShowBiz, actor Nick Moran may have joined the Deathly Hallows cast as a villain. Death Eater anyone?

"According to Metro, the actor who plays card sharp Eddie in "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" was overheard telling guests at the Global Cool London Fashion Week party in London about his role in the seventh "Harry Potter" film. "

We have no clue if these rumors are true. Maybe we'll find out soon? Click here.

Take a look at his picture and see if you can guess which bad guy he plays.

Hey, I'm still waiting for Half-Blood Prince.

New HBP Footage!

"TODAY Australia" has debuted some new Half-Blood Prince footage, which shows a lot we haven't already seen.

There's some kick-butt Dumbledore, a little Ron/Lavender shippery (it's a word, ok?!) a bit of Inferi, and Ron pondering the mystery that is the female gender. And of course, PLENTY of action. Or hints of it.

It also includes cast/crew interviews, and you should click here if you want to see it-- not read it. (Thank you YouTube!).

Did I mention Harry/Ginny glimpses?

Gas Leak In the Wizarding World

The Orlando Sentinel reported of a gas leak at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios (still in construction) today. The very short article states that:

"Construction on the forthcoming Wizarding World of Harry Potter ride caused a gas leak at about 2 p.m.

As a precaution, Universal evacuated guests from part of the Lost Continent portion of its Islands of Adventure theme park and called the fire department, according to Tom Schroder, a spokesman for Universal Studios.

The leak was capped by 2:15 p.m. and the park since resumed normal operations, Schroder said."

Luckily, we're assuming no one was hurt considering the park resumed operations. For more you can click here
