Damn You Mugglenet!

No... we don't actually mean that. We're just jealous because they've got a press pass to the brand new Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We want that.

According to the Orlando Sentinel:

Universal Orlando is preparing to reveal new details about the hugely anticipated Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

The resort has begun sending out invitations for a Sept. 15 webcast promising a "first-ever glimpse" ot the Wizarding World, which is supposed to open sometime during the first half of 2010. A spokesman for Universal declined to elaborate on the event.

I'm going to work on getting a bit of the action from Mugglenet. That way we can post it on the site!

Those Lucky Canadians...

I envy you Canadians... you lucky folks are going to be able to see "A Year in the Life of J.K. Rowling" which follows the (brilliant) author as she works away at the conclusion of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

CBS Newsworld will be airing it Saturday, September 5 at 10 pm ET and Sunday, September 6 at 8 pm ET.

There are some damn good effects in Half-Blood Prince... and now you get to see the magic behind them! Thank you to one company involved, Rising Sun.
